Glin (meaning “the glen”) is a village in the northwest of County Limerick, Ireland. It is on the south shore of the River Shannon’s estuary. It is between Foynes and Tarbert and near the Kerry border.
Coming from the Limerick side, there is an old pier that is in severe disrepair. A wall has been built between the concrete pier and it to keep people away.
