From messing around with simple point and shoot to borrowing my Dads Nikon DSLR I was always told I had a knack for photography. This kindled my interest in photography. I started trying to bring the borrowed camera with me more. Soon I became too busy with college and work and the camera was neglected again.
In 2015, I started taking Photography more seriously. I decided it was time I got my own camera. I thought I’d change things up and purchase a Sony a6000 mirrorless camera. I spent more time going out to take photos and post processing. I decided to start to incorporate Lightroom into my workflow. Soon after, Lightroom accounted for 90% of my post processing, Photoshop accounting for the rest. I feel as a result, my work has improved immensely.
I graduated from the University of Limerick in 2013 with a BSc in Music, Media and Performance Technology (MMPT). Photography is my passion. I enjoy video and graphic design work; Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro are my tools of choice. I have a good working knowledge of all the Adobe Suites including CC. I also have a great interest in web development and am always working on different projects. I have created several websites, ranging from simple websites up from the ground using HTML and CSS to using Javascript to implement user creating and login to interactive websites created using a CMS
Currently I’m based in Connacht and working in the Gaming industry.
